I photographed an event at Falmouth University where a building was covered in orange paint after what the university described as a peaceful protest "escalated by a small number of individuals who caused criminal damage."
The protest, held at the Penryn campus, took place around midday on a Wednesday, prompting a police response. Organized by Just Stop Oil, the event marked the third day of what the group referred to as "student resistance." My images capture the tension and atmosphere of the protest, documenting this moment of environmental activism and its aftermath.
