This story directly captures individuals who have faced extraordinary and often harrowing circumstances. Through raw and intimate imagery, it sheds light on deeply impactful topics, including rape, mental illness, domestic abuse, war, depression, drug and alcohol abuse, eating disorders, and trauma caused by terrorist attacks. Each narrative is a powerful testament to human resilience, providing an unfiltered look at experiences that are too often hidden or silenced. By bringing these stories into focus, this project aims to foster understanding, break stigmas, and highlight the strength found in vulnerability.

The project was exhibited at Exeter College's 2022 end of year exhibition and won best in show.
As part of the exhibition, I installed a photograph of domestic abuse survivor Bernadette on the wall of Exeter College's Centre of Creative Industries building.
